- NDVI = Normalized Difference Vegetation Index
- NDVI is a measure of the state of plant health based on how the plant reflects light at certain frequencies (some waves are absorbed and others are reflected) due to chlorophyll
- NDVI is a fancy name for simple formula = (NIR – RED)/ (NIR + RED), where
- NIR = reflection in the near-infrared spectrum (around 832.8-864.7 nano meters)
- RED = reflection in the red range of the spectrum (around 664.6 nano meters)
- Draw a shape and wait for the NDVI Analysis Chart to be generated
- Check Layers to see how NDVI looks like
